Based on 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea by Jules Verne

20,000 Leagues Under The Sea was one of my favorite books growing up and sparked my love for Sci-fi. This scene of the squid attack represents the impenetrable Captain Nemo losing to the wrath of nature and damaging his hubris, thus beginning his downward spiral.
